New footage of Metallica live in the “Tuning Room” before a show in Pittsburgh PA on October 18, 2018 features a short clip with Drummer Lars Ulrich on Drums and Lead Vocals playing a Metallica cover version of the Judas Priest classic “Delivering The Goods”.
Will this lead to a Lars Ulrich solo album?
In a related article from 2016 Metallica’s former manager Jon “Jonny Z” Zazula told Metal Hammer magazine that Lars Ulrich was originally considered to be the frontman for Metallica.
“Lars and I planned a lot of stuff. But James wasn’t the most confident of singers. I don’t think he felt comfortable.
“At one point there was even talk of Lars becoming the frontman. For about five seconds.”
Is Metallica hinting at a Lars Ulrich solo album?
